Integrated people centred eye care
Increasing access through integrated people centred eye care will prevent vision loss
Access to eye care is not equally distributed between and within countries. Marginalised and socially disadvantaged population groups experience more difficulty accessing the care they need1.
Integrated people-centred eye care provides a continuum of health interventions that address the full spectrum of eye conditions, according to people’s needs and throughout their life course.
To address the scale of the problem, a greater investment in the provision of integrated people centred services is urgently needed.
