The event is taking place online and in person at the World Trade Centre, Dubai, UAE.
2030 IN SIGHT LIVE is taking place as part of the Dubai Health Forum and will form part of a wider event and schedule.
Those arriving from around the world can use Dubai International Airport which is a key international hub and receives hundreds of flights each day from around the world.
Dubai International Airport is a 15-minute metro journey to the World Trade Centre.
When traveling around in Dubai the closest metro station is ‘World Trade Centre Metro Station 1’.
2030 IN SIGHT LIVE! is taking place as part of the Dubai Health Forum. Meaning delegates to 2030 IN SIGHT LIVE! will have the opportunity to mix with delegates at the wider Dubai Health Forum.

At all points during planning for 2030 IN SIGHT LIVE! our team have considered the climate change emergency and have endeavoured to reduce the carbon footprint of the event.
With the option of delegates joining us online for the first time at an IAPB global event there will be less flights taken which will again reduce our carbon footprint. We encourage all those flying to Dubai to consider ways of reducing their carbon footprint.
Dubai’s public transport system is very efficient and the best way for traveling around Dubai.
There will be no printed materials, printed advertising etc. and all programmes, agendas will be electronic to ensure there is zero carbon impact from print for 2030 IN SIGHT LIVE!

Nearly 100 foreign embassies are in Abu Dhabi, the UAE’s capital city, and Dubai is home to around 80 consulates. There is no specific dress code for 2030 IN SIGHT LIVE! However, we’d encourage delegates to dress as they feel comfortable, so recommend either Smart or Smart-Casual.
Dubai is a cosmopolitan city and a diverse melting pot where almost all attires and cultural expressions are accepted.
Dressing conservatively is appreciated in Dubai’s historic neighbourhoods and places of worship. There are specific requirements for entering a mosque, like wearing clothing that covers shoulders, arms and legs – and headscarves for women.

Many medicines used worldwide are readily available in pharmacies and hospitals across Dubai.
If you are travelling with prescribed medication, remember to bring your doctor’s note with you. The prescription should also detail the quantity of medication you intend to carry.
