Join IAPBJoin us for a day of collaboration, inspiration, and action as the IAPB Work Groups gather to advance the 2030 In Sight Strategy. Our Work Group Meeting Day will be hosted at the prestigious Asociación para Evitar la Ceguera en México (APEC) in Coyoacán.
Participate in dynamic sessions with our Work Group members to discuss and develop strategies that align with our collective vision for 2030. Engage in meaningful dialogues and contribute to the ongoing efforts to prevent blindness and vision impairment worldwide.
Along with work group meetings, several of our members and Changemakers are organising meetings during the Work Group day. For those meetings that are open to all attendees of the Work Group Day please find them listed in the timetable below and they will also be available on our upcoming event app.
Alongside the Work Group meetings, delegates are invited to join the Work Group Representatives in the beautiful APEC gardens for a Mexican lunch. This is an excellent opportunity to ask questions, forge new connections, and broaden your professional network in an informal setting.
This day also features unique opportunities for 2030 IN SIGHT LIVE delegates to connect before the main programme at Camino Real, Polanco on 26 & 27 June.
A Welcome to IAPB session will be hosted by Peter Holland, CEO of IAPB, and Dr. Babar Quershi, Vice President of the IAPB Board of Trustees, setting the tone for the days ahead. Delegates can also tour the hospital at Asociación para Evitar la Ceguera en México to see their state-of-the-art equipment and learn more about their mission and operations. Additionally, there will be an exclusive film screening of “My Eyes,” featuring Eduardo Avila Sanchez, a Paralympian Judo Champion, Influencer, and Actor, who is also a keynote speaker at 2030 IN SIGHT LIVE.
