Are you ready to lead the charge in global eye health? Join us for the Advocacy to Action: Leadership for Eye Health webinar series—a unique, six-part journey designed to equip you with the leadership skills and strategies to move from advocacy to impactful action. Whether you’re new to the field or a seasoned advocate, this series is your opportunity to build the capacity needed to drive meaningful change in eye health—especially in the lead-up to the Global Summit for Eye Health.

Webinar Series Breakdown 

This series is divided into two sets of three 60 minute sessions, each designed to progressively develop your leadership skills and strategies for action. Each session is run two times to enable people in different timezones to attend.  

Set 1 – Foundations of Leadership and Advocacy 

In this set, we’ll lay the groundwork for your leadership journey. You’ll explore systems thinking, develop a shared vision for change, and gain a deep understanding of global eye health strategies. 

  • The Global Summit and the Future of Eye Health (13th May, 9 AM GMT and 4pm GMT) 
  • Systems Thinking for Sustainable Change (20th May, 9 AM and 4pm GMT) 
  • Creating a Shared Vision for Advocacy and Action (27th May, 9 AM and 4pm GMT) 

Set 2 – From Vision to Action 

Building on the foundations, Set 2 will help you put your vision into action. You’ll learn how to mobilize coalitions, influence key stakeholders, and lead with impact to drive systemic change in eye health. 

  • Mobilisation and Coalition Building (16th June, 9 AM and 4pm GMT) 
  • Advocacy and Influencing Strategies (23rd June, 9 AM and 4pm GMT) 
  • Leadership for Lasting Impact (30th June, 9 AM and 4pm GMT) 

How the Webinars Work 

Each 60-minute session is packed with interactive content designed to equip you with tools you can use right away. From small group discussions to practical frameworks, these webinars will support you in immediately applying what you’ve learned.
