Are you attending IAPB’s annual global event, 2030 IN SIGHT LIVE in Kathmandu? Are you passionate about advocating for eye health progress in your home country? If so, don’t miss the Global Summit for Eye Health Activation Workshop—a pivotal opportunity to contribute to the movement driving high-level commitments for global eye health.

Why This Workshop Matters

The Global Summit for Eye Health is set to be a landmark event, mobilizing governments, resources, and action to end avoidable sight loss. However, its success depends on national-level engagement. To truly drive systemic change, we need a critical mass of empowered advocates—leaders who can build coalitions, engage stakeholders, and secure commitments from their governments.

IAPB is launching a series of Activation Workshops to foster an engaged network of individuals and organizations committed to advancing the Global Summit goals. This Kathmandu workshop is a key step in that journey.

What You’ll Gain from Attending

By joining the workshop, you will:

  • Stay informed – Receive the latest updates on the Global Summit, its goals, and how the eye health sector is progressing.
  • Become a leading advocate – Learn strategies to engage national governments and secure commitments.
  • Develop shared priorities – Align efforts with existing activities to maximize impact.
  • Collaborate with peers – Build relationships with other advocates, organizations, and committees to strengthen collective action.

A detailed agenda will be shared closer to the event, tailored to attendees.
