GoodVision has the aim to ensure basic optical care for everyone. GoodVision glasses (formerly OneDollarGlasses) are made from flexible spring steel wire, with lenses that can be clicked in on the spot. They are incredibly light yet extremely durable, with material costs around US$1. We extend basic optical care to low-income countries worldwide, train GoodVision Technicians and frame manufacturers, and sell the glasses for 2-3 days’ wages.
