Lady Jean Wilson has played a key role in keeping Sir John Wilson’s (IAPB’s founder in 1975 and Sightsavers in 1950) legacy alive. She too worked with him in ensuring that blind people around the world found equitable opportunities, including an integrated education project for blind children in Uganda.
Lady Wilson has continued to advocate for people with vision impairment.
