Call for Submissions – 2030 IN SIGHT LIVE, Nepal

We are excited to announce that the Call for Submissions for 2030 IN SIGHT LIVE, Nepal will open in early January 2025. This global event will bring together leaders, policymakers, and advocates to accelerate progress on the 2030 In Sight Strategy and pave the way for the Global Summit for Eye Health in 2026. 

This is your opportunity to showcase the impactful work you’re leading or contributing to, as we work to integrate eye health into national systems and development agendas. We’re inviting submissions of case studies and research that highlight: 

• Progress made, including successful strategies and interventions 

• Challenges and lessons learned from implementing integrated, people-centred eye care 

• Innovative solutions driving change in the sector 

Our aim is to curate a collection of real-world examples that not only inspire but also drive actionable insights for policy influence, commitment-making, and systems change. 

Stay tuned to learn more on how to submit. In the meantime, we encourage you to begin thinking about how your work can contribute to this critical conversation. We believe this stream in the programme will serve as a vital platform for evidence-based action on eye health. 

How You Can Get Involved 

We will be accepting submissions for two presentation formats: 

• Rapid Fire Presentations – Short, sharp in person presentations that highlight key achievements and insights. 

• Poster Presentations – In person poster displays that share innovative approaches and spark conversation. 

As you begin thinking about your submissions, here are the main themes to consider: 

• Elevate: Strategies & interventions that has driven policy & systems change 

• Integrate: Overcoming systemic challenges to deliver people-centred care. 

• Activate: Campaigns and community-driven initiatives that build momentum for change.
