The World Council of Optometry (WCO) is an international organisation dedicated to the enhancement and development of eye and vision care worldwide.

The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists’ (RANZCO’s) mission is to drive improvements in eye healthcare through education, communication, collaboration and advocacy across Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific.

The Ophthalmology Foundation works with eye care professionals, societies and organisations to enhance and provide ophthalmic education, with special focus on low-resource and underserved countries.

Our exclusive goal is enhancing the lives of children with eye disorders and both adults and children with strabismus throughout the world.

As a representant of Portuguese Optometrists, APLO is present in several international and national organizations, promotes studies and issues opinions on the provision of eyecare in Portugal.
