Vision Aid Overseas (VAO) is seeking to appoint a new Director of Finance and Administration, who will focus on ensuring that Vision Aid Overseas has the Finance, HR, Facilities and IT services necessary to deliver its mission and achieve its strategic goals. Reporting directly to the CEO and as part of the Senior Management Team, the post-holder will play an important role in the leadership and management of Vision Aid Overseas in helping deliver their ambitious strategy to 2021 and beyond.
The Director of Finance and Administration is responsible for the preparation of all financial information, relating to strategic projections, annual planning, budgeting and statutory accounts, monthly management accounts, audit processes and ensuring adequate financial controls and governance are in place including in our overseas programmes (this may require some international travel). They will lead on risk management and will manage a small finance and administration team.

Location: Crawley, West Sussex (with some overseas travel)
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Responsible for: Finance Officer (part-time) and Senior Finance Officer (full-time)
Salary: Competitive
Terms: Full time (part-time 3-4 days per week can be considered for the right candidate)
Leave: 28 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays (pro-rata if part-time)
