The Clearly Vision Prize, launched on 5th April 2015, aims at supporting innovation in the field of eye care in the areas of diagnosis, training, supply chain and distribution and big data. The best ideas will compete for $250,000 in prizes and one-on-one mentoring opportunities to make them a reality.
Vision for a Nation Foundation has contracted with the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine to conduct a major impact evaluation of Rwanda’s national eye care services. This first-of-its-kind study will focus on the primary eye care services that are now provided at every one of Rwanda’s 502 health centres as a result of the charity’s support. The research is being funded by UBS Optimus Foundation with results to be published in 2017 and 2018.
Vision for a Nation has been awarded Top Prize in the “International Aid and Development” category by the United Kingdom’s Charity Awards Programme – the UK charity sector’s most prestigious and longest-running awards programme.
