The Oxfam Inclusive Language Guide is a resource to support people in our sector who have to communicate in English to think about how the way they write can subvert or inadvertently reinforce intersecting forms of inequality that we work to end.

The language recommended can support us to make choices that respectfully reflect the way people wish to be referred to.

Orbis International “Integración de la Perspectiva de Género en la Atención de la Salud Ocular” (Mainstreaming a Gender-Based Approach in Ocular Healthcare)

This course is designed for hospital partners in the Latin America region. The course is carefully structured to raise awareness among medical and administrative staff about gender concepts, gender relations in public health, gender implications in ocular health, and the unique challenges faced by women in eye health in Latin America, offering a comprehensive exploration of gender considerations in eye care delivery.

The course is currently offered in Spanish with plans for an English translation.
